And yes ! we have today a very small community of Balmelli in the far South Africa too.

After  the second world war the last two Balmelli who take their origin in the small village of Crana (in the Onsernone valley), the brothers MARCO and FRANCO, emigrated from the german region of Switzerland  to South Africa where MARCO run with his wife a famous italian restaurant in Pretoria.

At the moment we dont' have all their genealogical tree.
